Halloween Plans
Halloween Party
Lets be honest, Halloween parties are where college students get the opportunity to really express their creativity, or non creativity, as we have the ability to make anything sexy. We thrive off of the Hallowee energy. Getting together with friends and all going to a frat party is scary in itself, so might as well make it festive and wear a costume. I feel safe saying that Halloween is the most hyped up holidays in the school year, and with that, people go all out. Lame costumes aren’t it. If you have the opportunity to go to a college Halloween party, it is an experience for sure, but I would advise to get as much college experience as you can while you can.
Pass Out Candy
If you still live at home, this is still an option, unless you want to pass out candy in your dorm room hall. It might no be the typical Halloween expectation, but being able to see all the kids run around might be the form of birth control you need that night.
Movie Night / Night in
Sometimes a night in is just as fun, if not more fun, as a night going out. For one, it is way cheaper. Having a more relaxed Halloween has been something I have kept saying I would do but then get pulled into a party. With that, hold your own. If you want to stay in, stay in. Halloween wine night with a charcuterie board...a DREAM. Turn on FreeForm’s 31 nights of Halloween, Netflix’s top horror, Hulu’s original thriller, or Disney’s Coraline.
Spooky nights only come around once a year, so do what you want. If you want to go out with friends and drink the haunted punch, by all means go right ahead! If you want to stay home and have a family night in and pass out candy to the neighborhood ghouls, no one is stopping you! If little ghouls aren’t for you, but getting drunk watching Twitches with your bestie is...then have fun and don’t get hexed. What I am trying to get at is, have fun. College is not that serious, one night of spook-fest won’t hurt. Whatever you do..just be safe.
